As the title suggests, LOADING! is a piece about processes, both good and bad. We often experience processes in our lives that mirror the way musical cadences build towards a certain point - a cycle of tension and release.

I built LOADING! out of elements related to one of the most stressful periods of my life: little things like WhatsApp notifications, emails, chords that needed tuning, pop songs, and a lot of different emotions. By themselves, many of the elements aren’t really of note; but together they compound exponentially. They’re all part of the process.
